1. Who we are (data controller)

2. What data we process

We process only the data you give us or that is created when you use the website:

• Contact data you send us by email or phone: name, company, email address, phone number and the content of your message or cargo inquiry.
• Business data needed to prepare an offer or perform a transport contract: addresses, cargo details, customs and shipping documents.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type and visit time, recorded in server logs by our hosting provider for security and operation.
• Language preference: the website stores your chosen language (EN / LV / RU) in your browser’s local storage. This is not sent to us.

3. Cookies and third-party content

This website uses only strictly necessary browser storage (your language choice and your cookie choice). Analytics cookies are used only with your consent; at the time of the last update no analytics or advertising tools are active on this website. You can change your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer. If we add such tools, we will update this policy.

Some images and map data may be loaded from third-party servers (for example image libraries or a content delivery network). These providers may receive your IP address and browser information when your browser requests the content.

4. Why we process data and on what basis

• Replying to your inquiries and preparing offers — steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in running our business (Art. 6(1)(f)).
• Providing transport, forwarding and customs services under a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
• Keeping accounting and other records required by law (Art. 6(1)(c)).
• Website security and troubleshooting (Art. 6(1)(f)).

5. Who receives your data

We do not sell personal data. Where necessary to provide the service, we may share data with carriers, shipping lines, airlines, customs brokers and warehouse partners; IT, hosting and email providers acting on our behalf; accountants and legal advisers; and public authorities when required by law. We require such recipients to protect the data.

Where data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards (for example EU Standard Contractual Clauses). This applies in particular to shipments to non-EU destinations, where data must be provided to local carriers or customs.

6. How long we keep data

We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above. Inquiries that do not lead to a contract are kept for a reasonable period needed to follow up; contract and accounting documents are kept for the periods required by Latvian law.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, request correction or deletion, restrict or object to processing, request data portability and, where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time. To exercise your rights, write to transport@ananda.lv. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data State Inspectorate of Latvia (Datu valsts inspekcija, www.dvi.gov.lv).
